Arrive at the Bandaranayke International Airport and you will be met and assisted by the Representative of Pearl’s Home Team and start the tour to Kandy
On the way to Kandy, Enroot visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. This elephant Orphanage is setup especially for Abandoned or injured baby elephants. They are reared here and are trained to become working animals. Feeding and bathing in the river provide the best opportunities to see the animal’s close-up.
Early breakfast we commence city tour of Kandy. Kandy, the bustling hill country capital is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is famous for the pink painted Temple of the Tooth which houses the most sacred religious relic, the tooth of the Buddha, the Kandy Lake built in 1807 which is an attractive centerpiece to the town. We visit the sacred Temple of Tooth Relic.
On the way to Kandy, you will have a chance to purchases Sri Lankan spices and learn about them by visiting spice garden.
After We visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens where a rare collection of tropical exotic and indigenous flora including the famous Orchid House could be viewed. Kandy is also popular because of the annual festival known as the Esala Perahera where the inner casketCovering the tooth relic of the Buddha is taken in a grand procession through the streets of the city held annually in the month of July or August.
Thereafter enjoy the Kandyan Cultural show at the Kandyan Arts & Cultural Centre. The show features the graceful and rhythmic dancers and drummers culminating in an impressive fire walking display.
During the city tour you have chance to purchases Sri Lankan origin GEMS with beautiful jewelries and fabulous art of wood carving.
Early breakfast we commence the tour to Little England Nuwaraeliya.
Nuwara Eliya. Witness the Ramboda water fall & en-route you can stop and enjoy a cup of Ceylon Tea while enjoying the spectacular scenery. Spend the evening relaxing in the cool climate. Nuwara Eliya is known as, “Little England” of Sri Lanka. Is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions. Arrive and check in at the hotel.
We will take you to the seethe Amman Kovill post breakfast.
This place is believed to be the site where Sita was held captive by the rakshasa king Ravana, and where she prayed daily for her husband Rama to come and rescue her in the Hindu epic, the Ramayana.There is a stream by the side of the temple where that runs from the hill nearby, and said to be formed for the needs of Sita Devi during her days at Ashoka Vatika. It is also considered that Devi Sita had taken bathe in this stream.On the rock face across the stream are circular depressions that are regarded to be the footprints of Hanuman.
Post Temple Visit, we will heading to city walk including flower garden visit and colonial town tour.
After Early breakfast, we will heading to down south area Benthota. This will take long hours in drive mode and going towards the most beautiful scenic area.
The best beach on Sri Lanka's west coast begins at Bentota. It is a broad stretch of sun-blessed golden sand that extends southwards as far as the eye can see from the wide mouth of the Bentota River. The Bentota National Holiday Resort was created in the 1970s and since then Bentota has become a favourite, year-round holiday destination for Sri Lankans and visitors.
You will have opportunity to touch the sea water and the visualize the deep of the ocean by doing snorkeling
After late breakfast we will proceed to see corrals in Hikkaduwa area. Hikkaduwa National Park is one of the two marine national parks in Sri Lanka. The national park contains a fringing coral reefof high degree of biodiversity. The area was declared a wildlife sanctuary on May 18, 1979, and then on August 14, 1988, upgraded to a nature reserve with extended land.
Kosgoda is a small coastal town located in Southern Province in Sri Lanka. The area is becoming one of the most vibrant tourist areas in Galle District in Sri Lanka due to the locations beautiful beaches, Kosgoda Lagoon (perfect place for watching birds and boat trips) and the it's Turtles and Turtle hatcheries.
After Breakfast, we will visit to see the lagoon at Benthota.
Take a magical speed-boat ride down the beautiful Madu River, a wetland estuary spreading over 900 hectares of which 770 hectares is covered with water and inhabited with 64 islands. The boat ride is a wonderful way to take a closer look at this complex wetland ecosystem; a world heritage site protected by the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands being one of the last wetlands in Sri Lanka to contain a pristine mangrove forest
We Arrive in Colombo and commence a city tour of Colombo. Drive through the commercial and city center area known as the “Fort”, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century where grand colonial era buildings stand alongside modern office structures. See the busy markets and noisy bazaars of Pettah, the National Museum with its fine collection of lovely antiques and art of Sri Lanka. Drive past the Town hall, Independence Square, the B.M.I.C.H (International Convention Centre) and Cinnamon gardens residential area and visit a Buddhist temple and a Hindu Kovil to experience the diversity of religion, ethnicity and customs of the people.
You can do shop in branded shops and complexes in Colombo main city.
At the evening, we will drop you to the Airport for the departure.
